Casa Desaba em Visconde do Rio Branco MG

Uma enorme casa de 3 andares e muito bem acabada, com telhado colonial e varandas com balaustres, uma verdadeira mansão, construída às margens do rio que corta a cidade de Visconde do Rio Branco na Zona da Mata mineira, desabou nesta Quinta-feira. Foi uma catástrofe terrível, mas impressionante a maneira como aconteceu: A casa inteirinha deslizou barranco abaixo até mergulhar parte de um lado nas águas turvas do rio. Impressionante! Pior do que o prejuízo material, que foi muito grande, foi o desaparecimento da dona da casa. Uma mulher de cerca de 65 anos. Segundo relato de uma vizinha que mora em frente, do outro lado do rio e que assistiu a tudo, a mulher dona da casa estava na janela do quarto no 2º andar pouco antes do desmoronamento, e assim que ela entrou para o interior da casa tudo veio abaixo. Até Sexta-feira, 26, pela manhã, ela ainda não tinha sido encontrada.

 Eu, particularmente, fiquei impressionado com a imagem da tragédia. Naquele momento me veio à lembrança a Palavra do Senhor JESUS CRISTO, que está registrada em Lucas 6:46-49 ACF, cujo título é "Os Dois Fundamentos":

"E por que me chamais, Senhor, Senhor, e não fazeis o que eu digo?

Qualquer que vem a mim e ouve as minhas palavras, e as observa, eu vos mostrarei a quem é semelhante:

É semelhante ao homem que edificou uma casa, e cavou, e abriu bem fundo, e pôs os alicerces sobre a rocha; e, vindo a enchente, bateu com ímpeto a corrente naquela casa, e não a pôde abalar, porque estava fundada sobre a rocha.

Mas o que ouve e não pratica é semelhante ao homem que edificou uma casa sobre terra, sem alicerces, na qual bateu com ímpeto a corrente, e logo caiu; e foi grande a ruína daquela casa".

É incrível como a Palavra relata com tremenda exatidão o ocorrido. Fiquei perplexo e realmente admirado! É evidente que esta Palavra não está falando de construção civil e sim da nossa vida. Mas, o que aconteceu com aquela casa ilustra muito bem o que acontece com aquele que não pratica os ensinamentos do Senhor JESUS CRISTO!

Fasting that pleases God

-Wherefore have we fasted, and thou seest not; have afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find what pleaseth {you}, and exact all your labours. Behold, ye have fasted for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness; ye do not at present fast, to cause your voice to be heard on high. Is such the fast that I have chosen, a day for a man to afflict his soul, -that he should bow down his head as a bulrush, and spread sackcloth and ashes {under him}? Wilt thou call this a fast, and a day acceptable to Yahweh? KNOWABLE BY THEIR FRUITS

Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles (Matthew 7:16)? The fruits of a person is what it produces: Your character, their attitudes and way of proceeding. When a person becomes an evangelical Christian, evangelical Christian, disciple or follower of Jesus Christ, ie when the person raises his hand and heart to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life, it is sealed in time with the Holy Spirit. It's an unusual experience, supernatural, wonderful. Becomes the tabernacle of the Living God. The fruit noticed this person transformed by God's power is the fruit of the Spirit that has these characteristics: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22). For those who profess to be followers of Christ, but its fruits are evil Lord Jesus Christ makes statement: "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord! enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then tell you plainly, I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity "(Matthew 7:21-23). There, he is not God of confusion, and nobody mocks God. Anyone who reads it understand! What is certain is that it is never too late to repent and change their ways, that is, while you are alive.

PELOS FRUTOS OS CONHECEREIS
Marcos Trigueiro, "o maníaco de Contagem/MG", assassino e estuprador confesso de 5 mulheres do Bairro Industrial, em entrevista à Rede Record de Televisão, disse que é evangélico, quando o repórter lhe perguntou qual era sua religião. O repórter através de sua expressão pareceu-me cético ante a inesperada resposta, mas não disse nada a respeito. Afinal, se o homem confessou com sua boca quem somos nós para dizer que não. Não podemos julgar. Mas, para que ninguém fique confuso a Bíblia trás informações esclarecedoras a respeito: O Senhor JESUS CRISTO disse a respeito daqueles que o haveria de seguir: Por seus frutos os conhecereis. Porventura colhem-se uvas dos espinheiros, ou figos dos abrolhos (Mateus 7:16)? Os frutos de uma pessoa é aquilo que ela produz: Seu caráter, suas atitudes e maneira de proceder. Quando uma pessoa se torna um evangélico, crente, cristão evangélico, discípulo ou seguidor de JESUS CRISTO, ou seja, quando esta pessoa levanta a mão e confessa de coração JESUS CRISTO como Senhor e Salvador de sua vida, ela é selada na hora com o Espírito Santo. É uma experiência inusitada, sobrenatural, maravilhosa. Passa a ser tabernáculo do Deus Vivo. O fruto percebido nesta pessoa transformada pelo poder de Deus é o fruto do Espírito Santo que tem estas características: amor, gozo, paz, longanimidade, benignidade, bondade, fé, mansidão, temperança (Gálatas 5:22). Em Mateus 3:10 tem uma advertência de Deus para aqueles que não se enquadram neste perfil: “E também agora está posto o machado à raiz das árvores; toda a árvore, pois, que não produz bom fruto, é cortada e lançada no fogo”. Para àqueles que confessam ser seguidores de CRISTO, mas seus frutos são maus o Senhor JESUS CRISTO deixa instrução: “Nem todo o que me diz: Senhor, Senhor! entrará no reino dos céus, mas aquele que faz a vontade de meu Pai, que está nos céus. Muitos me dirão naquele dia: Senhor, Senhor, não profetizamos nós em teu nome? e em teu nome não expulsamos demônios? e em teu nome não fizemos muitas maravilhas? E então lhes direi abertamente: Nunca vos conheci; apartai-vos de mim, vós que praticais a iniqüidade” (Mateus 7:21-23). Aí está, Deus não é Deus de confusão, e de Deus ninguém zomba. Quem lê que entenda! O certo é que nunca é tarde para se arrepender e mudar de caminho, isto é, enquanto se está vivo. Pr. Vandeir Ribeiro
